The Atlanta REALTORS® Association is fortunate to have many wonderful volunteers donating their time, energy and talent to make the association a successful organization. Each year, the Association takes the opportunity to recognize a few of these individuals with the following awards: REALTOR® of the Year, Affiliate of the Year, Five Star Circle of Service, Captain of the Industry, Mrs. Harry Norman Award and E.A. Isakson Award.
Top Producers
Members of the Top Producers exemplify the highest caliber of real estate professionalism and service. Top Producers honors the top 15% of our REALTOR® membership for production in volume and transactions at an annual black tie event held in March. This is the only recognition provided by the Association that is not presented at the Annual Business Meeting in December. More »
Captain of the Industry
This award recognizes those who have been members for 10 or more years and who have given active support to the Atlanta REALTORS® Association and its programs continually for five or more years.
Five Star Circle of Service
This award recognizes those members who have served the Atlanta REALTORS® Association in an exemplary manner over the past year. Nominations of this award may be generated by the Committee Chairman or any Officer or Director of Atlanta REALTORS®. It is recommended that this award be limited to no more than three members each year. Considerations for this award may include, but not limited to; leadership, initiative faithfulness, innovative thinking, and willingness to do whatever it takes to get the job done.
President's Award
The President's Award is personally selected by the President of the Association and is given to the member for outstanding service and contributions to the Association going far beyond any particular assignment. The recipient is recognized for his/her dedication and sharing of time and experience with others, all of which benefit the Association and it's membership.
Nominations
Nominations for the awards listed below are appreciated. Nomination forms can be downloaded using the links to the right under "Applications". All nominations will be presented to the Awards Committee and must be in the Association office by October 15th by 5:00 pm.
REALTOR® of the Year Award
Candidate must hold REALTOR® membership in an Association of REALTORS® from October 1st of the previous year to September 30th of the current year (the qualifying period) and be a member of the Atlanta REALTORS® Association at the time of nomination. Factors taken into consideration include REALTOR® spirit, civic activity, and business accomplishments.
Affiliate of the Year Award
This award was created in 1991 to be given to the Affiliate member of the Atlanta REALTORS® Association who has made the greatest contribution of time, energy and resource to the Atlanta REALTORS® Association in the calendar year.
E.A. Isakson Award
The E.A. Isakson Leadership Award was created for the purpose of recognizing an industry leader, member, or members of the Atlanta REALTORS® Association who has or have demonstrated through initiative and leadership actions, which brought a significant change, resulting in a lasting benefit to the membership, the community and/or our profession.
Good Neighbor Award
The award annually honors the Atlanta REALTORS® Association member whose ongoing efforts are making exceptional contributions to improve the quality of life in their community. Among the activities that qualify for consideration are involvement in improving the quality of education in an area, supporting initiatives aimed at a community's youth, and work on any other community-based program(s).
Mrs. Harry Norman Award
Criteria include that a transaction be outstanding, noteworthy, and show the most initiative, ingenuity, originality, constructiveness, imagination, and ability. The size or consideration of the transaction shall not be of special importance.
Sally Washburn Lifetime Achievement Award
This award was created for the purpose of recognizing an Atlanta Association member in good standing, who has demonstrated excellence through a minimum of twenty (20) years of active participation and service to the REALTORS® Association, its members, and the real estate industry.
Young Achievers Award - New in 2018!
This award is given to a REALTOR® under the age of 40 who has exhibited a strong commitment to our industry through involvement in the Association, Professional Excellence, Political Advocacy and Community Involvement during the qualifying year.
