Governor Brian Kemp allowed his previous Shelter in Place Order to expire on April 30th. While Georgia may be open for business, there are still some guidelines that must be followed.
After much anticipation and angst leading up to this week, Gov. Kemp allowed his recent Shelter in Place order to expire on April 30th. However, he did renew his Public Health State of Emergency which still offers guidelines on how the people of Georgia should slowly move back to normal. While the Shelter in Place order has expired for most Georgians, the Governor is still asking people to remain at home as much as possible.
With his new order, real estate, construction and development are still able to operate. Guidelines for operating your business remain in place. Social distancing recommendations, limited number of people congregated together and disinfecting common areas are still required for all operating businesses. "In accordance with our executive orders, businesses across the Peach State must continue to operate with strict social distancing and sanitation rules to keep customers and employees safe through May 13, 2020," reiterated Gov. Kemp.
